Built by the greatest Victorian engineers, The West Coast Mainline has been in dire need of updating for many years. In 2008 Network Rail finished this mammoth task of improvement. They succeeded on time and under budget, having taken over the total failure of the previous Rail administrator. Pretzel produced a documentary celebrating this achievement and the heritage of this line, its people and impact on the nation over the last 150 years. This film was sent out as part of a celebratory magazine in an initial run of 50,000 copies.
