Youth Film - The Team
Part of the overall communication for raising awareness of HIV and AIDS by Tearfund in 2008, this film was specifically targeted at a younger audience. The brief - to illustrate how African children living within Child Headed Households are just the same as children in the UK. Much like their UK counterparts the boys in this film aspire to being a lawyer, a footballer and a musician, yet their terrible living conditions and lack of schooling make these ordinary dreams impossible. In the face of this impossibility their hope remains unbroken and clear to see, a testament to the heart-wrenching nature of their situation.
